Before signing a tenancy agreement there are four things you should not overlook.
First: how much you will pay and exactly what that amount includes. Second: how long the contract lasts and how leaving works. Third: what it says about repairs, maintenance and damage. And fourth: what documents form part of the tenancy: inventory, annexes, keys or anything else.
Do not sign just because you are in a hurry to move in. Read the document and, if anything is unclear, ask before you sign.
Give it five minutes and you will save yourself a lot of headaches.
