Over 300 landlords have handed me their keys and not one flat is mine

2026-08-27 · Over 300 landlords have handed me their keys and not one flat is mine Watch on YouTube

What I say in the video

Over three hundred landlords have handed me the keys to their flat, and not one of them is mine. I am Txell Castelló, from Baula, and this is how I ended up being the person people call when a tenancy has to be closed.

Over the years I have seen a lot of conflicts, and they all start from the same place: everyone is flying blind. The tenant wants to leave and get the whole deposit back. The landlord wants the flat back without damage. Neither of them knows where the line is between normal wear, which the landlord pays for, and what can actually be deducted.

So I am here to fix that: so both sides know what they can demand and what they have to accept before the day the keys change hands. A tenancy that is properly explained never ends badly.

Do you pay rent, or collect it? Then this is for you.
